Anglicare Sydney is seeking a Maintenance Officer for Minto Gardens in NSW to ensure a safe, comfortable and well-maintained village for residents. This permanent full-time role requires dedication to service excellence and collaboration with residents, contractors and village teams.

You will perform general maintenance, repairs and preventative tasks while upholding Anglicare’s values and delivering exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience in general building maintenance or handyman services.
• Certificate or qualification in maintenance, building services or a related field.
• Strong problem-solving skills and practical approach to maintenance tasks.
• Ability to prioritise work and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Computer skills, including Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Carry out a range of maintenance tasks safely and efficiently.
• Carry out preventative maintenance programs to ensure facilities and equipment remain in excellent condition.
• Conduct fault finding and minor repairs to appliances and village assets.
• Maintain buildings, grounds and common areas to a high standard.
• Ensure tools and equipment are maintained and used safely.
• Provide courteous and professional service to residents, visitors and contractors.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• Follow workplace health and safety requirements and safe work practices.
