Edcamps seeks a Facilities Coordinator to create safe, functional spaces for young people, guests and staff. This role involves hands-on maintenance, contractor coordination and safety checks, not a desk job.
You will manage routine and reactive maintenance, keep records, and support grounds care while working with the Centre Manager to keep the site running smoothly. A practical, can-do attitude is essential.
Love fixing things, leading from the front, and making a real difference?
We're looking for a Facilities Coordinator who takes pride in creating safe, functional and welcoming spaces for young people, guests and staff.
This isn't a desk job. One minute you're coordinating contractors, the next you're troubleshooting a maintenance issue, checking safety systems, mowing grounds, repairing equipment, or helping prepare the site for bushfire season. Every day is different, and that's exactly how you like it.
What you'll be doing
As our Facilities Coordinator, you'll play a key role in keeping our camp facilities, grounds, accommodation and equipment operating at their best.
You'll:
About you
You're someone who notices the things others miss. You enjoy finding solutions, can juggle competing priorities, and aren't afraid to roll up your sleeves.
You'll bring:
Our commitment to child safety
The safety and wellbeing of children and young people is at the heart of everything we do. We are committed to providing child-safe environments and expect all team members to share this commitment. Successful applicants will be required to hold (or be willing to obtain) a Working with Children Check and meet all relevant compliance requirements.
