Job summary

Victoria Daly Regional Council in Kalkarindji is seeking a reliable Cleaner to maintain clean, safe, and welcoming spaces across Council facilities, offices, accommodation and community venues. You will work both independently and as part of a supportive team to present spaces to a high standard for staff, visitors and community members.

The role requires knowledge of safe cleaning practices, WHS awareness, ability to travel to remote facilities, and a current driver license.

Qualifications

• Must be dependable and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Organised and physically capable of performing cleaning duties.

Responsibilities

• Clean Council offices, meeting rooms, kitchens, break areas and common spaces.
• Safely use cleaning chemicals and equipment per WHS requirements.
• Monitor cleaning supplies and advise on stock replenishment.
• Report maintenance issues or safety concerns to the Council Operations Manager.
