Job summary

NT Fire and Emergency Services in Darwin seeks a Facilities and Maintenance Officer to manage Urgent Minor Repairs requests and keep the maintenance register up to date for NT F&ES buildings, including administrative and response locations and volunteer units.

You will coordinate with NT F&ES staff and, when needed, engage with the Department of Logistics and Infrastructure or contractors to handle requests not covered by UMR.

Primary Objective:

The Facilities and Maintenance Officer is responsible for raising requests through the Urgent Minor Repairs process and maintaining register for NT Fire and Emergency Services buildings, including administrative locations, Fire and Emergency response locations, and Volunteer Units, coordinating maintenance requests with NTFES employees, and engaging with the Department of Logistics and Infrastructure or contractors-service providers where a request is not covered under UMR.
