Rehoboth Christian College in Kenwick, WA is seeking a dedicated Facilities and Fleet Team Member for a full-time role starting mid-September 2026. Qualifications

  • You must hold or obtain a Working with Children Check.
  • You must hold or obtain a Department of Education Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (≤3 months old).
  • MR/HR licence and PTD authorisation would be advantageous, but not essential.
  • Experience in gardening, maintenance, handyman work or a trade background is highly regarded.
  • Applicants must demonstrate active involvement in a local Protestant Christian church and an exemplary Christian lifestyle.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the College grounds and facilities, including reticulation systems, play areas, gardens and grassed areas.
  • Care for buildings, fixtures and fittings in line with WHS requirements.
  • Safely transport students on bus runs and excursions as required.
  • Work independently while building positive relationships with staff and students.
  • Collaborate with the Facilities and Fleet team to support school operations.

About the Position

The successful applicant will be responsible for the general maintenance and upkeep of the College’s grounds and facilities, including maintaining reticulation systems, play areas, gardens and grassed areas, and caring for buildings, fixtures and fittings in accordance with Work Health and Safety (WHS) requirements. In addition, the role involves safely transporting students on bus runs and excursions as required.

The ideal candidate will be able to work independently for extended periods while also enjoying building positive relationships and sharing life and faith with staff and students within our College community.

We welcome applications from both experienced professionals and enthusiastic newcomers looking to begin their careers. While a Medium or Heavy Rigid (MR/HR) licence and Passenger Transport Driver (PTD) authorisation would be advantageous, they are not essential. Experience in gardening, maintenance, handyman work or a trade background will be highly regarded.
