Job summary

Aston Advantage in Brisbane, Australia, is seeking a proactive Trade Assistant to support a busy fabrication workshop. You will assist Boilermakers with pipe cutting, threading, rolling and general fabrication duties, using hands-on mechanical skills.

The role offers $38-$39/hr, a temp-to-perm opportunity, daily overtime and ongoing development. Forklift license and workshop experience are highly regarded; reliability and a willingness to learn are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• Trade Assistant with workshop/fabrication experience or strong hands-on labouring background.
• Experience in pipe cutting, threading, rolling and general fabrication duties.
• Forklift license and workshop experience are highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Support a busy fabrication workshop by assisting Boilermakers with pipe cutting, threading, and rolling.
• Perform general fabrication duties as required.
• Maintain safety and housekeeping in the workshop.
