Job summary

BAE Systems Australia is seeking qualified Aircraft Maintenance Engineers for the F35 program, based in Williamtown, NSW. You will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance across Structures, Mechanical and Avionics trades under authorised data and regulatory standards.

Mandatory Certificate IV in Aeroskills and the ability to obtain Defence clearances (ITAR). Applicants must be Australian citizens or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Structures: Production, maintenance and sheet metal repair; Composite and bonded structure repairs; Structural modifications and inspections.
• Mechanical: Hydraulic, pneumatic and environmental systems; Propulsion-related system components; Aircraft mechanical servicing and fault rectification; Fault diagnosis and maintenance of avionics systems; Electrical and integrated aircraft systems; Compliance with technical publications and certification requirements.
