DOF is seeking experienced Marine Cooks to join our offshore catering team aboard DOF vessels, delivering high quality meals and culinary experiences for crew. You will ensure hygiene, menu planning, and safe operations in line with DOF values.

The ideal candidate holds a current Marine Cook certificate of proficiency, offshore vessel experience, and a nationally recognised food hygiene certificate. Australian work rights are essential.

This role offers the opportunity to work offshore and support our crew by delivering high quality meals and culinary experiences onboard DOF vessels.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and cooking meals while supervising catering crew and menu planning
• Maintaining high standards of hygiene across galley, fridges, freezers, storage areas, and mess rooms
• Communicate effectively with all crew and demonstrated commitment to working safely according to the company's regulations

Requirements

• Hold a current Marine Cook certificate of proficiency
• Previous experience working offshore on a vessel
• Nationally recognised food hygiene certificate (for meal preparation and stores)
• Strong focus on Health, Hygiene, Safety and Environmental practices
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with intermediate computer skills and knowledge
• Highly service minded and solution oriented
• Ability to travel at short notice with Australian Work rights

Location

This position will be based offshore in Australian waters with occasional opportunities internationally.
