Expression of Interest Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Apprenticeship

The Opportunity

Partnered with our host Cass Cooling, we are seeking expressions of interest for Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Apprentices in all aspects of air conditioning services to a range of sectors including mining, industrial, commercial, education, health and residential while completing a UEE32220 Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration qualification.

Our host is based in North Rockhampton.

Job Details

As an Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Apprentice you will be involved in the servicing, installing and repairing residential air conditioning and refrigeration units.

Duties will include :

• Attaching piping to refrigeration systems using sleeves, couplings or unions and solder joints to form a complete system
• Drilling holes, installing mounting brackets and cutting, bending and thread piping
• Working at heights and confined spaces
• Heavy lifting and climbing ladders
• Servicing – washing and cleaning

About You

Our host is looking for someone who has a passion to learn about the trade and industry, has good communication and time management skills, and isn’t afraid to ask questions.

You must have a good mechanical aptitude, enjoy problem solving, and be comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.

• Reliable vehicle and current manual driver's licence
