Job summary

Next Executive is seeking a Project Geologist to join an established exploration team in Perth. The role involves supervising drilling programs, conducting geological logging, and contributing to the advancement of mineral projects across Western Australia.

Applicants should have at least 5 years of experience in mineral exploration and strong knowledge of Archaean geology. The position offers a compressed 9-day fortnight and opportunities for career development and site travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in mineral exploration, including project management.
• Strong knowledge of Archaean geology, particularly Yilgarn gold deposits.
• Exposure to a variety of mineralised systems across Australia and/or internationally.

Responsibilities

• Supervise drilling programs ensuring safety and quality standards.
• Conduct geological logging and interpretation of drilling results.
• Assist with mapping and project generation.
