Warrior Fabrication in Campbellfield, Victoria is seeking a skilled Welder to join its growing fabrication team. The role requires performing MIG and ARC welding, reading drawings, and fabricating components to tight tolerances.

You will operate welding equipment, follow safety procedures, and contribute to inspection, finishing and installation readiness. A Certificate III in welding or higher and at least 1 year of relevant manufacturing experience are required, with strong attention to detail

Competenze

• Certificate III qualification or higher in welding/fabricating.
• At least 1 year of welding experience in the last 5 years, ideally in manufacturing.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
• Knowledge of metal properties, welding QC, and industry standards.
• Good physical condition and stamina for a fast-paced environment.
• Strong safety focus and understanding of health and safety regulations.

Mansioni

• Perform MIG, ARC and other welding processes to fabricate, assemble and repair metal components.
• Read and interpret drawings, sketches and specifications to determine welding requirements.
• Measure, mark, cut, shape and prepare metal sections for fabrication.
• Position, align and clamp components prior to welding for correct fit.
• Weld structural frames, brackets and custom components to spec.
• Inspect welds and finished components for accuracy and strength.
• Finish welds and components for installation or further processing.
• Operate welding machines, grinders and cutting equipment safely.
• Identify defects and carry out adjustments or rework as needed.
