All Tree Services is seeking Experienced Tree Workers for casual, on-site work in Mackay, QLD. You will perform professional tree care, operating chainsaws and rigging tools while maintaining safety and efficiency on diverse sites.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate chainsaws and tree care equipment safely and efficiently.

• Maintain safety standards and follow WHS protocols on site.
• Work as part of a team to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Maintain equipment and report defects or maintenance issues.

About the role

We are seeking Experienced Tree Workers to join our team on a casual basis in Mackay, QLD 4740. As an Experienced Tree Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering professional tree care services to our valued clients. This position offers flexibility with casual work arrangements, allowing you to balance work commitments with other pursuits. You will be part of a dynamic team committed to maintaining safe, efficient operations whilst providing exceptional service to our customers.

Key responsibilities

Operating chainsaws and other specialised tree care equipment safely and efficiently

Climbing and rigging trees for safe removal or pruning operations

Felling trees and limbing branches in a controlled and professional manner

Chipping and mulching vegetation as part of site cleanup

Maintaining safety standards and following all work health and safety protocols on site

Working as part of a team to complete projects to schedule and within budget

Maintaining equipment and reporting any defects or maintenance issues

Communicating effectively with supervisors and team members throughout the working day

Adhering to environmental and waste management procedures

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a tree worker, arborist, or similar tree care role

Current or recently expired qualifications in arboriculture or tree surgery (qualifications valued but experience highly regarded)

Competency with chainsaws, rigging equipment, and other tree care machinery

Strong understanding of work health and safety practices, particularly in tree work environments

Physical fitness and ability to work at heights with confidence

Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team

Valid driver's licence and reliable transport to site locations

Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality workmanship
