Job summary

Construction Sciences seeks Experienced Soil Technicians for our Cairns team. This hands-on role blends lab and field work on exciting Cairns projects. You’ll test soils and concrete, prepare precise records, and participate in on-site activity for construction clients.

Qualifications

About the Role We're on the lookout for Experienced Soil Technicians to join our Cairns Team. This hands-on role offers the perfect mix of lab and field work on some of the most exciting projects in Cairns.

Your Day-to-Day

• Testing soils / concrete, in the lab and out in the field.
• Preparing clear, accurate records and reports.
• Getting hands-on at construction sites—manual work, plenty of action.
• Physical tasks in the laboratory and on-site.
• Providing top-notch service to our construction clients.

What You'll Need to Succeed;

• Soil / Concrete Testing experience
• A good team attitude, strong communication skills, and a solid work ethic.
• A Cert IV in Laboratory Techniques (advantageous - If you don't have one, we'll put you through a course at our expense).
• A current driver's licence and unrestricted Australian working rights.
• Nuclear Density Meter licence - (advantageous)
