Job summary

Specsavers Shellharbour is seeking an experienced Optometrist to join a two-store operation with advanced technology and a strong clinical focus. The role offers a salary package up to $120,000 plus super, bonus, and relocation assistance.

You will contribute to a collaborative, patient-centered eyecare team across two established stores, delivering comprehensive eye exams, myopia control, and contact lens fitting while leveraging cutting-edge equipment.

Qualifications

• Registered optometrist with Australian accreditation.
• Experience in clinical eye care and refractive assessment.
• Experience with myopia control and contact lens fitting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Salary Package: Salary of up to $120,000 + Super + Bonus + Relocation!
• Roster: Full-time position that includes working one weekend day.
• Store Information: This role offers the opportunity to work across two well-established stores as part of a large and supportive optometry team. One store features six test rooms, while the second has two test rooms, all operating within a positive, collaborative one-team culture. Across both locations, there are eight employed optometrists, and the stores are well equipped with modern technology including a Humphrey Field Analyser III, IPL therapy, topographer, auto-phoropter, auto-refractor, and non-contact tonometry.
• Patient Demographic: The stores service a diverse regional community, including retirees, young families, and paediatric patients. There is a strong clinical focus on myopia control, RGP contact lenses, orthokeratology, and dry eye management, offering a varied and rewarding scope of practice.
