Job summary

Canobolas Kids Health is seeking a Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join a multidisciplinary team in Orange, NSW. The role offers flexible hours, the opportunity to grow your caseload, and extensive mentoring with our Lead OT.

You will assess and treat children from birth to 18 years, collaborate with families to set goals, and work within a supportive health professionals team to deliver patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Must love kids and be dedicated to achieving the best outcomes for each child.
• Registered Occupational Therapist with AHPRA.
• Current Working with Children Check.
• Experience in assessment and therapy for children from birth to 18 years.
• Experience with NDIs, private and Medicare clients.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with children and families to develop meaningful goals and therapy plans.
• Maintain up-to-date clinical notes and communicate with the healthcare team.
• Work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic care.

Canobolas Kids Health is a multidisciplinary allied health service located in Orange, NSW. We are looking for a Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our growing team of Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists.

A position is available at Canobolas Kids Health for a full or part time (2+ years experience) paediatric Occupational Therapist. This is an opportunity to develop a caseload based on your interest areas and skills, working within a multidisciplinary team that provides flexible working hours and conditions. You must love kids and be dedicated to getting the best outcome for each child you see.

You have the ability to play, connect and empower children and families to support children to reach their potential.

Have a recognised degree in Occupational Therapy.

Hold a current registration with AHPRA.

Hold a current Working with Children Check.

Have experience in assessment and therapy for children from birth to 18 years, for a diverse range of conditions. These skills may be broad ranging or more specialised and age specific.

Work collaboratively with children and their families to develop meaningful goals and therapy plans to achieve occupational challenges.

Have excellent verbal and written communication skills, keep clinical notes up-to-date and communicate regularly with the clients healthcare team.

Evidence and experience working with NDIS, private and Medicare clients.
