The Systems Engineer will own Akuna’s Linux server platform health, participate in design, deployment, and maintenance, and automate daily tasks with scripting and tooling. Strong ownership and proactive problem solving are essential.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of systems engineering experience.
• Advanced experience with a variety of Linux distributions (RedHat, Ubuntu).
• Experience in managing and running services within Kubernetes clusters.
• Automation of daily software and hardware tasks using Python or Bash.

Responsibilities

• Investigate new products and techniques to improve efficiency and performance.
• Management of server infrastructure at third party and local data centres.
• System monitoring, performance tuning, and day-to-day support.
