Job summary

UVS Group Pty Ltd is seeking a casual Construction Labourer to support on various Sydney projects. You will work alongside tradespeople, supervisors and site personnel to help complete tasks safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Responsibilities include assisting with material handling, site prep, manual labour, using basic tools, and maintaining a clean, safe worksite while following directions and PPE requirements.

Qualifications

• Previous construction or labouring experience is essential.
• Good physical fitness and ability to perform manual work.
• Reliable, punctual and willing to work as part of a team.
• Ability to follow instructions and work safely.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• White Card required.
• Commuting by car is preferred but not essential.
• Full working rights.

Responsibilities

• Assist tradespeople and supervisors with general construction and labouring duties.
• Load, unload and move building materials, tools and equipment around the site.
• Assist with site preparation, set-up and clean-up.
• Perform general manual labour, including digging, lifting, carrying and moving materials.
• Use basic hand and power tools as required.
• Assist with demolition, concreting and other general construction tasks.
• Remove rubbish, debris and construction waste; keep work area clean.
• Follow all WHS procedures and wear PPE.
• Assist with deliveries and safe storage of materials.
• Follow directions from supervisors and complete tasks promptly.
• Work cooperatively with tradespeople and other site personnel.
