Job summary

Bambini Early Learning Centre in Parkville, Melbourne, is seeking an experienced Assistant Educator to join our team on a full-time basis, Monday to Friday. You will work within a strong play-based program inspired by the Reggio Emilia Approach, supporting children across 6:30am–6:30pm with a collaborative team.

You will hold a Diploma or Certificate III (ACECQA-approved) and maintain current WWCC, First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, Asthma, Police Check, and Australian work rights, with a passion for

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA-approved).
• Knowledge of EYLF, NQS and Child Safety Standards.
• Current Working with Children Check.
• Current Level 2 First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certificates.
• Current Police Check and Australian work rights.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality early learning experiences within the program.
• Communicate effectively with children, families and staff.
• Observe and document children’s development to contribute to the program.
• Be flexible to operate across 6:30am–6:30pm, Monday to Friday.

Bambini Early Learning provides a strong play-based curriculum inspired by the Reggio Emilia Approach. Our children enjoy beautiful indoor and outdoor play spaces, along with a range of extra-curricular activities such as music classes, sports and art.

Our Parkville centre is now seeking an experienced, qualified Assistant Educator to join our team on a full-time basis, Monday to Friday.

You will:

• Have demonstrated experience in a similar early learning environment.

Your Credentials:

• Diploma, Certificate III or equivalent ACECQA-approved qualification (or actively working towards one).
• Sound knowledge of and experience implementing the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards and Child Safety Standards.
• Current Working with Children Check.
• Current Level 2 First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certificates.
• Current Police Check.
• National Child Safety Training - Foundation & Advanced Modules.
• Australian work rights are required for this position.
