Job summary

Star Scaffolds seeks experienced steel and aluminium scaffolders for residential projects in Melbourne, based in Tullamarine. You will erect, modify and dismantle scaffolding systems on site, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with SWMS and company procedures.

The role requires strong teamwork, a background in residential work, and current HRWL and White Card. A valid HR licence is preferred and a commitment to safety and workmanship is essential.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in residential scaffolding.

• HRWL high-risk work licence for the work performed.
• White Card and current driver’s licence (HR preferred).

Responsibilities

• Erect, modify and dismantle steel/aluminium scaffolding.
• Follow site safety requirements, SWMS and procedures.
• Ensure scaffolding installed safely to quality standards.
• Maintain equipment and keep work areas clean.
• Collaborate with team, supervisors and other trades.
• Represent Star Scaffolds professionally on site.

Star Scaffolds is seeking experienced and reliable Steel and Aluminium Scaffolders to join our team based in Tullamarine, Victoria.

With over 25 years of experience providing steel and aluminium safety systems, we work with residential builders and construction projects to deliver safe, reliable, and high-quality scaffolding solutions.

We are looking for experienced scaffolders with a strong background in residential work, a commitment to safety, and pride in the quality of their workmanship.

About the Role

You will work across residential scaffolding projects, erecting, modifying and dismantling steel and/or aluminium scaffolding systems in accordance with site requirements and safety standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Erecting, modifying and dismantling steel and/or aluminium scaffolding.
• Following all site safety requirements, SWMS, and company procedures.
• Ensuring scaffolding is installed safely and to the required quality standards.
• Maintaining equipment and keeping work areas clean and organised.
• Working effectively with team members, supervisors, and other trades.
• Representing Star Scaffolds professionally on site.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Demonstrated experience in residential scaffolding.
• Experience with steel and/or aluminium scaffolding systems.
• A relevant, current scaffolding High Risk Work Licence (HRWL) appropriate to the work performed.
• A valid White Card.
• A current driver's licence (HR Preferably)
• A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
• A reliable work ethic, positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Pride in your workmanship and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
