seek.com.au is seeking an Experienced Mobile Panel Beater and Painter for on-site work across various locations. You will operate from a fully equipped van, focusing on light to moderate damage with a finish customers can’t argue with.
You’ll manage your own time, tools, and quality, communicate clearly with customers, and ensure your van and equipment are kept in working order. An immediate start is required for this role.
Who Are We? We’re a mobile automotive repair business. No workshop, no front desk. We go to the customer, set up wherever we need to, and get the job done. That might be a quiet suburban driveway, a busy commercial car park, or a site in the middle of nowhere. The work is real, the job is expected to be done properly
The Role You’ll be our mobile panel beater and painter working independently out of a fully equipped van. The focus is on light to moderate damage: minor dents, gouges on doors, guards and bumpers. You won’t be pulling frames or rebuilding panels from scratch, but you will be expected to deliver a finish that customers can’t argue with. Here is what the job actually looks like day to day:
The Honest Part You will have days where the weather is against you, the location is far from ideal, and the customer expects a miracle. You will need to manage those situations professionally and still deliver. Mobile repair is not a controlled environment, and if you’re someone who needs a workshop to do your best work, this role is probably not the right fit. If you thrive under pressure and know how to adapt, keep reading.
Why It’s Worth It You will not be clocking in and out of a workshop every day. You will be in charge of your own work, building real relationships with customers, and doing a job that actually shows results. For the right person, this kind of role is far more satisfying than anything inside four walls. We support our team, we pay generously, and we want people who want to stay.
