Job summary

Kieser is hiring an Exercise Scientist & Client Advisor to welcome clients, manage appointments and payments, and prescribe exercise programs. You will supervise training and educate clients on strength training for long-term health outcomes.

You’ll work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based solutions, track progress, and ensure high-quality service reflected in Kieser’s standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or near-complete physiotherapy studies with relevant units completed.
• First Aid & CPR certification required.
• NDIS Worker Screening and Working with Children Check completed.
• Experience or placement in exercise programming is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead 1:1 training, conduct strength assessments, analyse movement.
• Develop evidence-based exercise prescriptions for recovery and performance.
• Provide education on health, fitness and prevention to clients.
• Coordinate with Physiotherapists and Exercise Physiologists as a team.
• Manage admin tasks and client progression tracking.

What You’ll Do

As an Exercise Scientist:

• Lead 1:1 training, run strength assessments, and analyse movement to help clients crush their goals.
• Apply biomechanics, physiology, sports psychology, and motor control principles to create evidence-based solutions that actually work.
• Give clients practical, science-backed advice on health, fitness, and performance so they feel empowered, not overwhelmed.
• Develop and implement tailored exercise prescriptions that support recovery, prevention, and peak performance.
• Work alongside a multidisciplinary team of Physiotherapists and Exercise Physiologists to deliver health outcomes to clients.
• Establish, track, and reassess progress for both new and long-term clients to keep them motivated and moving forward.
• Guide clients to hit their fitness targets, recover from injuries, and perform at their best.
• Complete essential admin tasks to support seamless client care.
• Provide top-tier service that reflects Kieser’s commitment to quality and innovation

As a Client Advisor:

• Coordinate client appointments and manage a busy electronic clinic diary
• Process client payments (EFT, HiCaps, MediPass)
• Recommend Kieser’s products and services
• Conduct membership consults
• Provide administrative support to the leadership and clinical team
• Answer questions and resolve problems for clients
• Consistently deliver high-quality service in accordance with Kieser standards

What We’re Looking For

If you’re passionate about helping people and believe in strength training for prevention and long-term health, we want to hear from you.

Must-haves:

• Bachelor of Exercise/Sports Science or currently undertaking 3rd (or subsequent) year Bachelor of Physiotherapy, where at least 2 of following units have been completed: Physiology & Anatomy, Biomechanics/Human Movement and/or Exercise Programming/Prescription
• Relevant placement/practicum learning regarding Exercise Prescription
• First Aid & CPR certification
• NDIS Worker Screening + Working with Children Check

Nice-to-haves:

1+ years of work experience in a customer-facing administrative, hospitality or customer service role

• Private practice background
• Previous experience in strength-training environment
