Job summary

Kieser Australia is seeking a passionate Exercise Scientist to join our Canberra team. You will design and supervise personalized strength-training programs, using evidence-based methods to promote long-term health and injury prevention.

As a recent graduate, you will work alongside Physiotherapists and Exercise Physiologists to deliver client care, with ongoing onboarding, development opportunities, and access to Kieser facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Exercise/Sports Science.
• Currently undertaking 3rd year Physiotherapy with at least two of Physiology & Anatomy, Biomechanics/Human Movement and/or Exercise Programming/Prescription completed.
• First Aid & CPR certification.
• NDIS Worker Screening + Working with Children Check.

Responsibilities

• Lead 1:1 training and supervise clients' strength programs.
• Apply biomechanics and physiology principles to create evidence-based exercise plans.
• Provide science-backed health and performance guidance to clients.
• Develop tailored exercise prescriptions for recovery, prevention and peak performance.
• Collaborate with Physiotherapists and Exercise Physiologists to achieve client outcomes.
• Track progress and reassess plans to keep clients motivated.

Education

Bachelor of Exercise/Sports Science

Third-year Physiotherapy with Physiology & Anatomy / Biomechanics / Exercise Programming completed

Tools
