Job summary

ACT Treasury is seeking a proactive Executive Officer to provide high-level strategic and administrative support to the Deputy Under Treasurer. You will work closely with the executive and teams across Treasury and other directorates, Ministers’ Offices, and other key stakeholders.

The role is within the ACT Public Service and may involve activity-based working. Successful applicants should be prepared for peak periods that may require weekend or after-hours work and potential redeployments to

Details:

The Treasury stream of the Chief Minister, Treasury and Economic Development Directorate (CMTEDD) seeks applications to permanently fill the Executive Officer position in the Office of the Deputy Under Treasurer.

We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Executive Officer to provide high-level strategic and administrative support to the Deputy Under Treasurer. You will play a key role in working closely with the executive and teams across Treasury and other directorates, Ministers’ Offices, and other key stakeholders.

Notes:

A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.

This position has moved to a new workplace designed for activity-based working (ABW). Under ABW arrangements, officers will not have a designated workstation/desk. ACT Treasury supports flexible working arrangements and notes that during peak operational periods applicants may be required to work in the office and understand the role may involve regular weekend or after hours work during peak budget periods.

Note: Under the ACTPS employment framework you may be placed in another role where required for the efficient administration of the service.
