What's the role?

Join Australia’s leading media organisation as the Executive Assistant to the General Manager of Industry Specialisation and Revenue Operations, where you will drive operational excellence and high-level administrative support across the Client Partnerships team. Partnering directly with two key business leaders, you will act as a trusted right hand, mastering complex diary management and travel coordination, orchestrating team events, and overseeing vital administrative and financial processes, including purchase orders and budget alignment. Additionally, you will proactively anticipate needs and clear operational bottlenecks, equipping your leaders with seamless day-to-day backing to help advance their strategic, nationwide media initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver proactive administrative and operational support to General Managers across the News Corp Client Partnerships team.
  • Manage complex diaries, domestic and international travel arrangements, and meeting preparation, ensuring efficient schedule and call prioritisation.
  • Coordinate recurring one-on-ones with direct reports and facilitate seamless communication with key internal and external business partners.
  • Assist in the end-to-end planning and execution of local team events, client hospitality, and team-building initiatives.
  • Process department purchase orders, manage invoice reconciliation, and track financial approval workflows against established budgets.
  • Oversee day-to-day office operations, including records management, software and office supply procurement, and ad hoc administrative projects.
Who are you?

You have proven experience as an Executive Assistant supporting senior leaders in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You bring previous exposure to the media sector (or you're eager to apply your skills within a high-energy media landscape). You’re exceptionally detail-oriented, with outstanding written and verbal communication skills across all levels of business. You’re a proactive problem solver who shows strong initiative, sound judgment, and confidence in decision-making. You thrive under tight deadlines, easily juggling competing priorities in a busy, collaborative team setting. You’re confident with technology, bringing solid administrative skills and strong proficiency across both Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
