Position Title: Executive Assistant to the Directors

Contract Type: Temporary (3–6 months)

Rate: $45–$48 per hour + super

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and highly organised Executive Assistant to provide high-level administrative and executive support to the Directors within a leading independent school setting. This position plays a key role in supporting daily operations, managing competing priorities, and ensuring smooth communication across departments and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide proactive, confidential administrative support to the Directors.
  • Manage complex calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments.
  • Prepare high-quality correspondence, reports, minutes, and presentations.
  • Liaise with internal staff, parents, and external stakeholders with professionalism.
  • Maintain effective systems for records, filing, and document management.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, events, and board or committee support as required.
  • Prioritise tasks and manage deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

About You

  • Proven experience in an Executive Assistant or senior administrative role.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational ability with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with discretion, confidentiality, and sound judgment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable learning new systems.
  • Experience in an education or professional services environment is advantageous.
