Job summary

seek.com.au is seeking an experienced excavator operator for a long-term civil infrastructure project in Queensland. You will operate a 36t excavator on a major site, perform bulk and detailed earthworks, and prep for civil works.

This is a full-time contract, with 10 hours or more per day and weekly pay, reflecting the demanding schedule and site constraints. Prior experience on large infrastructure sites is preferred.

Job description

Our client is an established, Melbourne to Brisbane sub contractor specialising in wet plant hire for major civil contractors. With strong relationships and a healthy pipeline of work locked in, we are looking to fill the seat long term with the right person.

About the role:

• Operate 36t excavator on a major infrastructure site
• Bulk & detailed earthworks
• Prep for civil works

Salary / Incentives:

• $55 - $58 per hour, plus allowances (Dependent on experience)
• Full-time contract
• 10 hours or more per day
• Weekly pay
