Job summary

Myndshift Group is seeking an experienced Excavator Operator for the King of the Hill Mine Project in Western Australia. This casual role offers a 2/1 roster with FIFO from Perth, camp and meals provided, and opportunities for longer-term work as projects secure new work.

You will operate large production excavators on site and support a safe, efficient crew. Requirements include proven excavator experience, a safety-first mindset, and Australian work rights with a valid driver's licence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating large production excavators.
• Safety-first mindset with personal accountability on site.
• Positive, team-oriented attitude suitable for an established crew.
• Australian Work Rights and Driver's Licence.
• Current pre-employment medical and National Police clearance.
• Ability to pass Drug and Alcohol screening and have relevant RII competencies.

Responsibilities

• Operate large production excavators safely and efficiently across site.
• Perform daily pre-start checks and report hazards or defects promptly.
• Follow site plans, instructions and traffic management requirements.
• Maintain a tidy work area and support safe interactions across teams.

Ready for your next FIFO opportunity from Perth? We're seeking experienced Excavator Operators to join a well-established mining contractor at the King of the Hill Mine Project in Western Australia.

Myndshift Group have been engaged by our client partner, a leading mining contractor delivering safe and efficient operations at the King of the Hill Mine Project. We are currently seeking experienced Excavator Operators to join the site on a casual basis. Located approximately 230km north of Kalgoorlie near Leonora, King of the Hill is a significant gold mining operation in WA's Eastern Goldfields.

About the Role

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Excavator Operator to work across large production excavators on site. You'll work a 2/1 roster rotating across day and night shift, with FIFO from Perth and camp and meals provided. Starting on a casual basis, this role offers a genuine pathway to longer-term opportunities as future projects are secured.

Equipment across site includes

• Excavator: Hitachi EX2600
• Excavator: Hitachi EX3600

Key Responsibilities

• Operate large production excavators safely and efficiently across site
• Complete daily pre-start checks and report any hazards or defects promptly
• Follow site plans, instructions and traffic management requirements
• Maintain a tidy work area and support safe, respectful interactions across all teams
