Job summary

CatholicCare Victoria is seeking a qualified social service practitioner to support children, families and carers under the Family Services program in Ballarat. You will deliver client-centred services using risk assessment tools and evidence-informed frameworks, adapting approaches to meet varied family needs.

The role requires experience across early intervention and high-intensity models, with a focus on collaborative, multi-agency work to strengthen families in a regional Victoria setting.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Social Work or related field.
• Demonstrated experience working with children, young people and families.
• Knowledge of MARAM, BICPM, Safe and Together, Outcome Star, Ages and Stages Questionnaire.
• Experience delivering services across early intervention and high-intensity models.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, client-centred services to families within the program.
• Apply evidence-informed frameworks to assess needs and risks.
• Provide practical, therapeutic and system-based support to families.
