Job summary

RNA is seeking security professionals to join Brisbane's iconic RNA Showgrounds. In this newly created role, you’ll support the Precinct Protection & Logistics Manager, Security Supervisor and team to keep staff, visitors and assets safe during major events and daily operations.

You’ll help implement SOPs, supervise RSA and crowd control, manage access, incidents and daily logs, and assist emergency response. The role offers casual and permanent part-time opportunities with parking and benefits.

Qualifications

• Security License (Class 1) with Crowd Control & Monitoring required.
• RSA certificate is desirable; CPR/First Aid certified is essential.
• Current Queensland Driver's Licence is required.
• Forklift licence is a bonus but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Support the Security team in safety and security of staff, patrons and assets.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures and standing orders.
• Promote health and safety, fire safety and crime prevention; administer first aid as needed.
• Supervise RSA and crowd control in line with liquor laws.
• Prepare incident reports, hazard assessments and daily logs.
• Oversee daily security operations, alarms, patrols and access control.
