ABOUT THE ROLE

The Events Manager role presents a unique opportunity to apply your events management skills to work that supports real, lasting outcomes for nature. The position supports ALCA's mission by delivering high-impact events that strengthen the capability, connectivity and influence of Australia's land conservation sector. The Events Manager is responsible for leading on and supporting the delivery of all events across ALCA's policy, nature finance and capacity building agendas. These include ALCA's flagship annual multi-day conference being delivered as a Global Congress co-hosted with the International Land Conservation Network in 2027, one-day Conservation Finance Intensive and other workshops as well as regular smaller virtual and in person convenings.

ABOUT YOU

You are a highly organised, self-motivated and proactive professional with strong event management experience and a proven ability to deliver high-quality outcomes. Creative and adaptable, you respond well to changing priorities and bring practical, solutions-focused thinking. You are an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills, able to build trusted relationships, and you thrive in a small, dynamic organisation, working equally well independently and as part of a geographically dispersed team.

ABOUT ALCA
