Job summary

TAG – Talent Acquisition Group is seeking reliable freight handlers to join a busy national transport and logistics operation in Matraville, NSW. This role offers ongoing casual opportunities with PM shifts from 2:30pm, in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

As a Freight Handler you will process shipments safely and efficiently, load and unload trucks, sort and scan freight, and maintain a clean, safe workspace while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience in freight handling or logistics is advantageous.
• Able to perform repetitive manual handling duties.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Available for afternoon and evening shifts.
• Commitment to workplace health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading trucks and freight vehicles.
• Sorting, scanning and processing incoming and outgoing freight.
• Moving and organising freight within the warehouse and dock areas.
• Ensuring freight is handled safely and accurately.
• Working to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area.
• Following workplace health and safety procedures.
