Job summary

City Facilities Management Ltd. in Rutherford NSW is seeking an Evening Cleaner to support our partner Goodstart Early Learning. You will clean activity rooms, amenities, and shared spaces during evening shifts, disinfect high-touch surfaces, and perform routine housekeeping tasks in a child-friendly environment.

Willingness to learn, reliable attitude, and access to a smartphone for updates are essential. Australian work rights are required; driver's licence and own car are preferred.

Qualifications

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Previous cleaning experience (preferred, not essential).
• A smartphone for work communication.
• Valid working rights in Australia.
• Driver’s licence and own car (preferred).
• Willing to obtain a Police Check or Working with Children Check.

Responsibilities

• Clean activity rooms, amenities, and shared spaces.
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces like handles and switches.
• Dust, vacuum, mop, and spot-clean doors and windows.
• Safely use chemicals, equipment, and machinery.
• Perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and kneeling.
• Follow all OH&S policies and procedures.
