Job summary

City Facilities Management Ltd. in Ferntree Gully VIC is seeking casual cleaners for evening shifts to cover activity rooms and shared spaces. The role runs Monday to Friday, 7pm–9pm, with shifts that fit your schedule.

You’ll clean, disinfect, dust, vacuum, mop and spot-clean doors and windows while safely using chemicals and equipment. The successful candidate will have a positive attitude, flexibility, a smartphone for work communications, and valid working rights in Australia.

Qualifications

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Previous cleaning experience (preferred but not essential).
• A smartphone for work communication.
• Valid working rights in Australia.
• Driver’s licence and own car (preferred).
• Willing to obtain a Police Check or Working with Children Check.

Responsibilities

• Clean activity rooms, amenities, and shared spaces
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces such as handles and switches
• Dust, vacuum, mop, and spot-clean doors and windows
• Safely use chemicals, equipment, and machinery
• Perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and kneeling
• Follow all OH&S policies and procedures
