Job summary

Prestige Automotive in Sydney's inner southern suburbs is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join a dynamic team. You will work with cutting-edge EV technology on current models and upcoming launches, ensuring vehicles are prepared to the highest standards.

The role requires a Certificate III in Automotive Technology or equivalent, strong diagnostic abilities, and a commitment to quality. Applicants must have a valid Australian driver’s licence and the right to work in Australia.

Qualifications

• Qualified Automotive Technician (Certificate III or equivalent)
• Experience in a dealership, OEM, or reputable service environment
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Experience with electric vehicles (EVs) is highly regarded
• Current and valid Australian driver’s licence
• Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to quality
• Able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Must have the right to work in Australia (Australian citizen or Permanent Resident preferred)

Responsibilities

• Receiving new vehicle deliveries
• Preparing new vehicles to a level that provides the highest levels of customer satisfaction
• Complete vehicle servicing in line with internal standards
• Diagnose and repair vehicles using a high level of technical ability and following all relevant processes and policies
• Road test vehicles to ensure it is returned to the customer in the best operating condition possible
• Support the Aftersales Manager in delivering exceptional customer experience
• Collaborate with internal departments to maximise customer satisfaction
• Carry out vehicle evaluations to identify concerns and validate repairs
• Assist with Parts operations as required
