Job summary

BYD Sunshine Coast is seeking a hands-on Accessories Fitter to fit a range of genuine and aftermarket vehicle accessories on new vehicles prior to delivery. This full-time role runs Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:06pm, with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to manufacturer standards.

You will install items such as tow bars, floor mats, window tint, and protection products, perform quality checks, and support pre-delivery preparation while keeping thorough documentation and

Qualifications

• Experience fitting automotive accessories or strong mechanical aptitude.
• Experience in automotive/mechanical/electrical environments.
• High attention to detail and workmanship standards.
• Reliable and positive attitude, good time management.
• Ability to work independently or in a team; current driver's licence.
• Experience with EVs is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Fit genuine and aftermarket vehicle accessories.
• Install tow bars, electric brake controllers, mats, tint, and protection products.
• Conduct quality checks on installations.
• Assist with vehicle pre-delivery preparation.
• Complete job documentation accurately and promptly.
• Maintain workshop tools and equipment.
• Follow safety and manufacturer standards at all times.
• Support the broader workshop team as required.
