JV Recruitment Pty Ltd is partnering with a well-established residential builder and developer on the Ormeau, Gold Coast area seeking an Estimating Manager. You will lead the estimating department, drive accuracy across tenders and take-offs, and mentor the estimating team as the business grows.

The role requires proven leadership in residential construction estimating, strong negotiation and stakeholder skills, and a proactive approach to workflows.

Qualifications

• Experience as Estimating Manager or Senior Estimator in residential construction.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
• High attention to detail and commercial acumen.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Proactive, solutions-oriented approach to construction workflows.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, manage, and mentor the estimating team to ensure smooth operations.
• Review and manage estimating processes for residential builds, custom homes, and townhouse projects.
• Oversee cost planning, trade quoting, subcontracting packages, and tender submissions.
• Collaborate with sales, production, and project management teams.
• Ensure estimates align with margins, quality standards, and timelines.
