Job summary

Griffith English Language Institute – Southport QLD is seeking casual ESL teachers to deliver General and Academic English across Brisbane CBD and Gold Coast campuses. The role requires a degree or diploma (3 years full-time) and a TESOL qualification, with experience teaching English as a second language.

Desirable candidates may have CELTA or other relevant ESL credentials and be able to engage learners of diverse backgrounds, including younger learners.

Qualifications

• Essential qualifications include a degree or diploma of at least 3 years full-time or equivalent (teaching or other).
• A TESOL qualification or TESOL-containing qualification is required.
• Experience teaching English as a second language is required.

Responsibilities

• Teach General English and Academic English courses as needed.
• Deliver engaging lessons at Brisbane CBD and Gold Coast campuses (Southport QLD).
• Contribute to student learning and participate in program activities.

Qualifications

Essential

• Experience teaching English as a second language

Desirable

• Experience teaching General English, exam preparation courses and Academic English
• CELTA qualified
