Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN) is seeking a WorkFit Services Consultant to transform clinical knowledge into practical workplace safety solutions in Adelaide. You’ll combine hands-on consultancy, engaging training and design advice to support safer participation across industries.

The role emphasizes ergonomic assessment, tailored interventions and collaboration with a multidisciplinary clinical network, with a focus on impactful, evidence-based practice.

Qualifications

• A tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy, with AHPRA registration or eligibility.
• Experience in manual tasks, ergonomics, workplace injury rehabilitation and training delivery.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage people with different needs and perspectives.
• Sound knowledge of work health and safety legislation, risk management and injury prevention.
• A practical, consultative approach to improving workplace safety and capacity.

Responsibilities

• Assess fitness for work and recommend practical ways to support safe participation.
• Deliver engaging manual task training and inductions that build confidence and safer habits.
• Help prevent and manage musculoskeletal injuries through tailored interventions.
• Advise on ergonomic workplace design, equipment selection and work practices.
• Build trusted relationships with clients to understand their challenges and develop workable solutions.
