Job summary

Evoenergy is hiring Lineworkers to build, service and maintain the ACT's electricity network as Canberra moves toward a net zero future. The role involves installing, altering, and maintaining the distribution network, connecting and disconnecting supply, and ensuring community safety.

This full-time position offers a 9-day fortnight, relocation support to Canberra, and benefits such as a gym membership and onsite physio, supporting a safe and inclusive workplace.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in ESI - Distribution Overhead is required.
• Current ACT MR license or equivalent is required.
• High Risk licence EWP is required.
• Previous field experience in network construction/maintenance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Installing, altering and maintaining Evoenergy's distribution network for servicing works.
• Connecting and disconnecting supply to customers.
• Construction and maintenance of overhead and underground electricity network.
• Substation construction and maintenance.
• Fault response and rectification works.
• Uphold a safe, inclusive and respectful environment for colleagues and the community.

Job description

As a Lineworker at Evoenergy, you will be part of constructing, servicing and maintaining the ACT’s electricity network, as we move toward a net zero future.

We have multiple positions available for Lineworkers to join us here in the nation's Capital territory.

Key responsibilities:

• Installing, altering, and maintaining Evoenergy's distribution network for customer requested servicing works
• Connecting and disconnecting supply
• Construction and maintenance of the overhead and underground electricity network
• Substation construction and maintenance
• Fault response and fault rectification works,
• You take active steps to ensure the safety of your colleagues and our community, championing a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment
• Certificate III in ESI - Distribution Overhead
• Hold a current ACT motor vehicle licence (MR) or its acceptable equivalent.
• High Risk licence EWP
• Previous successful work in field on construction and/or maintenance of network infrastructure.
