Alcoa Australia is seeking a Plant Production Specialist to join the Mining Environmental team at Huntly Central, WA. You will manage seed and plant production data, coordinate projects with external partners and support experimental design, ensuring safe delivery and collaborative operations.

Qualifications

• A degree in Environmental Science or an equivalent qualification.
• Working knowledge of seed biology, germination and plant growth.
• Experience working with inventory management processes and systems.
• Knowledge of experimental design and the implementation of research projects.
• Strong data management, analysis and reporting capability.
• The ability to identify, develop and support practical improvement opportunities.

Responsabilités

Be part of it and shape your world.About the RoleJoin our Mining Environmental team as a Plant Production Specialist at Huntly, where you will help improve seed use and plant establishment outcomes across Alcoa’s rehabilitation and remediation programs. This role is based at Huntly Central working a Monday to Friday roster.Reporting to the Plant Production Superintendent, you will combine your knowledge of seed biology, plant production, experimental design and data analysis to support species richness outcomes and help Alcoa meet its rehabilitation completion criteria.
