Job summary

Corrs Chambers Westgarth in Perth seeks an Associate to join its growing Environment & Planning team. You will advise on environmental approvals, land use, native title and cultural heritage, and climate-related regulation for major projects across Australia.

You will work with partner Naomi Hutchings, gain exposure to high-profile matters, and develop deep expertise in environment and planning law within a leading national practice.

Qualifications

• Approximately 3–4 years' post-qualification experience.
• Experience at a leading Australian, international or specialist environment, planning, land use or regulatory practice.
• Experience advising on environmental approvals, planning, land use, native title, Aboriginal cultural heritage or regulatory matters.

Responsibilities

• Advise leading project owners, developers and private sector clients on environment and planning matters.
• Develop client relationships and build expertise in environment and planning law.
• Collaborate with partner Naomi Hutchings and the national Environment & Planning team.
