Job summary

Aurec Group in Sydney is seeking an Environmental Monitoring Analyst to join a high-impact team fighting climate change. You’ll manage a portfolio of nature-based projects that capture greenhouse gases, enhance biodiversity, and safeguard ecosystems.

In this hybrid role, you’ll consolidate spatial, ecological and operational data, deliver rigorous reporting, ensure project integrity and compliance, and translate complex datasets into clear insights for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proven experience analysing complex datasets to deliver actionable reporting.
• Direct experience in carbon farming or ACCU projects is not essential.

You’ll work on a massive portfolio of nature-based projects that capture greenhouse gases, improve biodiversity, and protect ecosystems.

As Environmental Monitoring Analyst, you’ll be part of the team responsible for project integrity, compliance and reporting.

That means being able to bring together multiple datasets (spatial, ecological, operational), and translating them into usable insights that lead to better environmental outcomes.

You’ll work with an array of different stakeholders and deliver reporting that ensures projects are compliant, defensible, and economically viable.

What you’ll bring to the team:

As well as an obsessive eye for detail, you’ll need prior experience in Environmental Science, Horticulture or something similar.

You’ll also need proven experience analysing complex datasets to deliver actionable reporting.

Direct experience working in carbon farming or ACCU projects is not essential, but would stand you in good stead.
