Job summary

CBased Environmental, a leading supplier of environmental monitoring services in NSW, seeks a full-time Environmental Field Technician based in Singleton to support field services across the Hunter region. Duties include sample collection, equipment operation, field analysis, data retrieval, and equipment calibration.

Training will be provided; qualifications in environmental monitoring or related disciplines are valued.

Qualifications

• Training provided in all aspects of environmental monitoring.
• Diploma/degree highly regarded; relevant outdoor/environmental experience is valued.
• Current valid driver’s licence with ability to drive manual 4WD vehicles; readiness for outdoor work.
• Drug and alcohol testing will be required as part of employment.
• Remuneration negotiable based on qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for field work and collect samples.
• Operate sampling equipment and perform field analyses.
• Retrieve data and maintain calibration of equipment.
• Maintain and service field gear; work across Hunter region and regional NSW.
• Occasional travel and weekend overtime may be required.
