Job summary

Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority is seeking an experienced compliance professional to contribute to the Compliance Assessment Team within the Reef Joint Field Management Program. This office-based role supports investigations, field surveillance, and information management across the Reef World Heritage Area.

You will perform data entry, QA, and data extraction, assist with exhibit and accountable documents handling, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure

Qualifications

• Proven ability to perform data entry with accuracy and quality checks.
• Experience delivering administrative support in a compliance or regulatory context.
• Working knowledge of environmental compliance and enforcement concepts.
• Ability to interpret legislation and policy and apply it to cases.
• Strong judgement and decision-making skills under pressure.
• A collaborative team player who communicates effectively with internal/external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Assess reported offences and perform related administrative tasks.
• Enter and QA data in databases to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Monitor and extract data from compliance and tracking systems to identify trends.
• Assist as Exhibit Officer and Accountable Documents Officer for court-related records.
• Provide general section support including project involvement and training as needed.
• Engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
