Job summary

Kraft Heinz in Seven Hills, NSW, Australia seeks an Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Lead to drive H&S performance at the site and support operational risk initiatives across Environment, Security and Business Continuity. You will lead the EHS program with autonomy, shaping a broad site agenda.

You will bring 5+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing, working knowledge of relevant legislation, and hands-on experience with regulatory agencies.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years experience in EHS or safety management in a manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of relevant legislation.
• Experience dealing with regulatory agencies (e.g. WHS QLD, DoE).
• Experience with Safety Management Systems and EHS auditing
• Experience with Rehabilitation and Return to Work

• Set site direction of EHS performance through target setting and monitoring.
• Drive continuous improvement to ensure EHS compliance with legislation and Kraft Heinz best practice.
• Ensure policies, management systems and controls are applied across EHS.
• Lead EHS audits and action plans.
• Mitigate business continuity risks through emergency preparedness plans.
• Provide qualitative and quantitative EHS reporting.
• Participate in Environment and Social Governance initiatives such as energy conservation and waste reduction.

Reporting to the Site Manager, the Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Lead is accountable for the Health & Safety performance of our Seven Hills site, as well as supporting implementation of other Operational Risk initiatives including Environment, Facility Security and Business Continuity. This is not your routine Health & Safety role - come enjoy a diverse and dynamic role within a supportive team where you’ll enjoy the autonomy to drive a broad agenda across the site.

You will be responsible for:

• Setting site direction of EHS performance through target setting and performance monitoring
