Job summary

The Environment & Community Superintendent at Multi Asset Australian Based Mining Operator leads environmental management and community engagement across the mining site, ensuring compliance with Victorian environmental legislation and transparent regulator interactions.

You will mentor a team of Environmental and Community Advisors, drive sustainability initiatives, coordinate stakeholder events, monitor rehabilitation programs, and report to the HSEC Manager.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science or related discipline.
• Senior leadership experience in environmental management within mining/resources.
• Strong knowledge of Australian environmental legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to engage regulators, auditors, and community stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proven capability to coach, mentor, and lead high-performing teams.

The role ensures compliance with Victorian environmental legislation while fostering positive, transparent relationships with key stakeholders.
