Job summary

Multicultural Consulting Services Pty is seeking a senior environmental leader to drive compliance and sustainability across a major station development on-site in Parramatta. You will steer environmental controls, turn project sustainability objectives into measurable outcomes and guide teams across design, construction and delivery.

The role requires a degree in Environmental Engineering/Science or related field, and eight years’ experience leading environment and sustainability for major

Qualifications

• A degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Sustainability or a related discipline.
• At least eight years leading environment and sustainability on major civil, rail, station or urban infrastructure; relevant NSW transport experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated ISC rating and sustainability reporting experience.
• Strong knowledge of NSW planning legislation, the EP&A Act, EPA requirements, erosion and sediment management and waste classification.

Responsibilities

• Manage environmental plans and sustainability frameworks against NSW requirements and ISO 14001.
• Lead ISC rating submissions, credit tracking and validation of supporting data.
• Oversee erosion and sediment controls, noise, vibration, air quality, water discharge and unexpected contamination.
• Coordinate statutory approvals, licensing and liaison with transport authorities, EPA NSW and councils.
• Lead audits, incident reviews and environmental reporting while advancing carbon reduction, waste diversion and resource efficiency.
