Job summary

Centorrino Technologies Pty Ltd. is seeking an entry-level Software Developer to contribute to a digital transformation program for the Northern Territory Government in Darwin.

You’ll gain exposure to software development, systems administration and ICT operations, with mentorship from senior engineers and opportunities for career growth within a supportive, security‑conscious environment.

Qualifications

• A qualification or near-completion qualification in IT, Computer Science, Software Development or a related field.
• Basic software development, coding, scripting or application support experience.
• Some experience supporting ICT systems or technical environments.
• Familiarity with Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
• Understanding of software development lifecycles and ICT operations.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to follow established processes, security requirements and technical standards.
• A collaborative, positive and professional approach.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the development, maintenance and support of applications.
• Support development, test and production environments.
• Assist with system configuration, patching, monitoring and routine maintenance.
• Support application deployments, releases and environment updates.

This is a contract opportunity through to 12 February 2027, based in Darwin, NT, supporting the development, maintenance and operation of secure digital platforms.

You’ll work alongside experienced technical professionals, gaining exposure to software development, systems administration and ICT operations.
