Job summary

Marsh Risk is seeking an Account Executive to join the Corporate and Commercial team in Canberra on a full-time, permanent basis. This hybrid role requires in-office presence at least three days per week and promises exposure to a global leader in risk and insurance services.

The Account Executive will assist Senior brokers with client servicing, portfolio management and business development, while gaining hands-on experience in risk management and insurance programs.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Motivation for client service and solutions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Support Senior and Principal Account Brokers with portfolio management.
• Assist with the development, implementation and management of risk management and insurance programs.
• Establish and maintain long-term relationships with key decision makers.
• Understand client business and insurance needs; document briefing information.
• Identify products that meet client needs.
• Process invoices, policy accounting information, quotations, premium calculations, policy wording and related docs.
• Liaise with clients, underwriters and claims managers.
• Develop a basic technical understanding of relevant insurance classes and services.
