Job summary

World Wide Technology (WWT) is seeking a Consulting Systems Engineer to lead pre-sales efforts for Australian clients, delivering tailored IT solutions across enterprise areas such as networking, cloud, data center and security. You will engage with sales teams to translate customer needs into architecture proposals and service scopes.

The role requires extensive experience in pre-sales, enterprise IT, and customer-facing consultative work, with a strong drive to enable digital transformations

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in pre-sales engineering and Solution Architecture in Enterprise domains.
• 5+ years of experience in Networking-related fields.
• A minimum of 3-4 years in customer-facing/consultative roles.

Responsibilities

• Create and Document a Client Architecture Plan: outline key discovery areas for a subset of Australian Customers; update quarterly.
• Engage in Technical Pre-Sales Engineering to understand client challenges and position solutions.
• Develop and deliver high-quality pre-sales technology solutions, including proposals and diagrams.
• Participate in requirements and scoping workshops with customers, delivery partners, and Sales.
• Build relationships with OEMs and services partners local to the region.
